One of our primary areas of practice is Employee & Leadership Selection. We work with organizations of all sizes to develop effective selection strategies, allowing you to better predict who will succeed before you hire them. To identify those factors critical to employee success, we utilize our innovative Success Modeling process. We also help you leverage state-of-the-art assessment tools and processes to most effectively determine candidates’ knowledge, skills, abilities, motivation, values, and other characteristics. This ensures an optimal fit between a candidate and your organization. And because we’re trained in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, we can help you to identify the best talent for the job and your organization while minimizing exposure to litigation.

  We also provide organizations with assessment services for individual job candidates. For our Candidate Success Forecast, we integrate pre-employment testing and our own competency-focused interviewing to provide you with sound recommendations as you make your important hiring decisions. And for leadership roles, SHAPE Consulting has created the Leadership Potential Forecast, an innovative service for leadership talent selection.

Our other primary area of practice is Performance Management & Development. Organizations can no longer afford to make assumptions about how to improve performance and accelerate development. We work with organizations to implement Performance Management & Development initiatives that help employees become more effective. The systems that we create also provide a means for communicating expectations and ensuring accountability. 

We also help organizations manage performance through Leadership Development. We utilize innovative approaches to initially determine specific development needs, and then work with you to devise appropriate development plans to ensure that your organizational leadership is prepared for the challenges it will face.
